Reading With your Children
Pupils who are competent readers and writers tend to make better progress in all areas of the curriculum.
Over the next few months we will be launching a series of events to promote reading at home. We hope you will support this important initiative to our school and your children.
There are number of ways you can support your child with their reading;
- regularly share a book with your child, not just their reading book, any book.
- encourage your child to read a range of materials in addition to books e.g. comics, cereal boxes, signs and newspapers.
For more information please see Reading with your Children under the Parents tab.
