    Macmillan Coffee Afternoon

    This year's Macmillan Coffee Afternoon was a great success. A huge thank you to the staff who co-ordinated this event, everyone who made or donated cakes and to friends and families of Highlees who bought them. We raised a fantastic £143.89.

    Our Celebration Assemblies

    Today we had our Celebration Assemblies. We invited parents in to see their children get awards for their school work. The awards covered all subjects. Mrs Ward presented the trophies to the children. The most anticipated award was the Head Teachers Award wich was awarded to Hannah Giles.

    Speedmark

    Today we all got to see how fast we can kick a football. The Speedmark goal has a digital screen at the back of the goal, which tells you how fast the football is travelling. We had some really good speeds, both boys and girls reached speeds over 40mph.
